Maskeron Makes Its Commercial Debut with Aloha

In June 2019, Dubrovnik homebrewer Niko Čučković brought Maskeron into commercial brewing with Aloha, a session IPA made in collaboration with LAB in Split. The beer was already on tap by June 14, when the Croatian beer publication Pivnica.net reported its arrival. Aloha's label designer, Matija Juršić of Trollenium Art, identifies it as the first commercially available Maskeron beer. The Maskeron name had appeared in Dubrovnik's homebrewing scene before this release. Aloha carried that project into commercial production using another brewery's facilities, establishing a brewing model that Čučković continued through collaborations and production at host breweries. His Dubrovnik roots and the beer's production in Split were distinct parts of the venture.
