Seb’s Pale Ale Wins Gold at the European Beer Star

In 2022, Seb’s Pale Ale from Kraft Bräu in Trier, Germany, won the gold medal in the European Beer Star category “English-Style Bitter.” Kraft Bräu reported that it was the first German brewery to receive gold in this category. The European Beer Star is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious beer competitions and awards only gold, silver, and bronze in each category. In 2022, an international jury of 140 beer experts evaluated 2,168 beers from 40 countries. Seb’s Pale Ale finished ahead of Firestone Walker Brewing’s DBA from the USA and Birra 100Venti’s Roger Bitter from Italy.
