Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin Found Omnipollo

Breweries

In 2010, brewer Henok Fentie and artist Karl Grandin founded Omnipollo in Stockholm. They established the company around an equal partnership between brewing and visual art: Fentie developed the beers, while Grandin shaped their names, labels, and wider creative identity. Their shared ambition was not merely to introduce another craft-beer brand, but to change how beer could be perceived and presented. Without initially operating a brewery of its own, Omnipollo developed recipes and produced them at partner breweries in Sweden and abroad. This nomadic model allowed Fentie and Grandin to collaborate internationally and experiment with unconventional flavors, strong visual concepts, and styles ranging from hop-forward ales to dessert-inspired stouts and sour beers. Omnipollo became one of the most internationally influential breweries associated with Sweden’s modern craft-beer movement.
