Eremita Braukunst Becomes Certified Organic

In 2022, Eremita Braukunst in Birenbach, Baden-Württemberg, became certified organic. Run by Benjamin and Ola, the small German brewery produced both traditional and creative beers, drawing inspiration for its recipes from landscapes and travel. Profiles of the brewery describe an approach centered on selected raw materials, traditional brewing methods, and hands-on production. Its beers were packaged without filtration or pasteurization. Organic certification became part of that brewing approach, and Eremita presented itself as an organic craft brewery in subsequent festival profiles.
