Fuerst Wiacek Begins Commercial Brewing At Camba

In December 2016, Georg Fürst and Lukasz Wiacek scaled up one of their homebrew recipes at the CAMBA Old Factory in Gundelfingen an der Donau, Bavaria. Their first beer made on commercial brewing equipment was a New England IPA named "A Quick One While She’s Away," later shortened to "A Quick One." Fuerst Wiacek identifies it as Germany’s first New England IPA. Fürst and Wiacek transported twelve kegs of the beer approximately 570 kilometers back to Berlin in Fürst’s camper van. Its reception led to commitments for further beer, and the pair began returning regularly to the Old Factory while continuing their day jobs. This contract-brewing phase transformed their kitchen experiments into the commercial Fuerst Wiacek brewing project.
