Riegele Introduces Eight Modern Brewing Specialties
In November 2013, Riegele presented a range of eight brewing specialties developed by Sebastian Priller-Riegele and brewmaster Frank Müller. The collection expanded the Augsburg brewery’s portfolio beyond its traditional Bavarian beers through interpretations of international and strongly flavored beer styles. The range included Simco 3, an India Pale Ale brewed with Simcoe and Hallertau hops; Noctus 100, an Imperial Stout made with five malts; Robustus 6, a Porter fermented with Irish ale yeast; and Dulcis 12, a Belgian-style Dubbel. Amaris 50, Auris 19, Ator 20, and Augustus 8 completed the series, connecting Riegele’s long brewing tradition with the growing diversity of Germany’s modern craft-beer culture.
