Speidel Introduces the Braumeister

In 2003, German manufacturer Speidel introduced the original concept behind the Braumeister, a compact stainless-steel brewing system developed for hobby and home brewers. Its patented malt-pipe design circulated wort upward through the grain, allowing mashing, lautering, and boiling to take place in a single vessel without continuous stirring or transferring the wort between separate kettles. The Braumeister combined this single-vessel design with programmable temperature and time control, reducing the equipment and manual supervision required for all-grain brewing. It became an early example of the electrically controlled all-in-one brewing systems that later gained a significant place in homebrewing equipment.
