Ayinger Opens Its New Brewery

Breweries

On October 16, 1999, Privatbrauerei Ayinger opened its newly constructed brewery in Aying, Bavaria. Franz Inselkammer II had initiated the project to replace the older village brewery with a modern production facility capable of maintaining quality while meeting growing technical and commercial demands. The new brewery combined extensive automation and modern quality control with environmental planning and the continued use of regional raw materials and the brewery’s own water supply. By investing in a new facility while remaining family-owned and rooted in Aying, Ayinger demonstrated how a traditional Bavarian brewery could modernize without abandoning its regional identity or established beer styles.
