Two Chefs Brewing Begins In Amsterdam

Breweries

In 2012, former chefs Sanne Slijper and Martijn Disseldorp began Two Chefs Brewing in Amsterdam. They started with a homemade brewing system and applied their culinary experience to experimenting with ingredients and flavor combinations. Two Chefs initially developed its beers without a brewery of its own. By 2016, it had released nine beers and used crowdfunding to establish an independent production brewery in Amsterdam. The company continued to emphasize varied and experimental styles, later producing beers ranging from IPAs and fruited sours to its Stroopwafel Stout.
