Max Senner Passes Away

Max Senner, co-founder of the Ingolstadt brewery Yankee & Kraut, passed away in 2023 at the age of 34. Senner was known as the “Kraut” in the brewery’s name, while his friend and co-founder Bryan France was the “Yankee.” France and Senner founded Yankee & Kraut in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany, in February 2016, when Senner was 27 years old. The two friends had known each other since 2005 and formally launched their brewing project on February 25, 2016, united by their shared interest in beer and its diversity.
