FrauGruber Brewing Is Founded

In the winter of 2016, Augsburg brewers Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber founded FrauGruber Brewing. The brewery’s name combines parts of their surnames: FRAUenschuh and GRUBER. FrauGruber initially operated as a gypsy brewery and produced its first beers at the Alte Fabrik in Gundelfingen in spring 2017. The company later established its own brewery in Gundelfingen, opening the production facility in January 2020.
