Schneeeule Returns with Three Berliner Weisse Beers Brewed with Lemke

On August 28, 2026, three Berliner Weisse beers created by Brauerei Lemke and Schneeeule began their draft release in Berlin during Berlin Beer Week. Ulrike Genz worked with Lemke on Dit Dufte, an unflavored version; Dit Schicke, made with lavender; and Dit Wilde, made with blackberry. All three used Brettanomyces yeast and lactic acid cultures. The collaboration followed the closure of Schneeeule's brewery business and salon in 2025. It also renewed an earlier connection: around 2014, Genz had researched historical Berliner Weisse at Lemke during her studies. The limited releases gave her work with the style a new outlet through collaboration. A bottled release was announced for September 4. The return took the form of new beers with Lemke, while the former Wedding salon remained closed.
