Les Intenables Is Founded in Alsace

Breweries

In 2019, three founders established Les Intenables in Mundolsheim, Alsace, after taking over the premises and brewing equipment of a brewery that had ceased operating. Jérôme and Alice had already been looking for a suitable brewery, while Julien had long wanted to start one of his own. The team restored the premises and equipment before beginning production. Les Intenables delivered its first beers to bars on March 12, 2020, only two days before France's COVID-19 shutdown disrupted the brewery's launch. The brewery nevertheless continued developing a broad range of modern craft beers, with particular emphasis on heavily hopped IPAs and other contemporary styles. After outgrowing its original site, Les Intenables moved to a larger brewery in Rosheim in 2022.
