First Hopfenreiter Day Marks the Release of Hopfenreiter #11

On September 4, 2026, Maisel & Friends launched Hopfenreiter #11 with the first Hopfenreiter Day. The brewery invited drinkers to take part at home or at 22 participating venues: 20 in Germany and two in the Netherlands. The coordinated release extended an annual collaboration beer into a shared event across bars, restaurants, retailers, and a craft beer festival. Hopfenreiter #11 was a limited Double IPA made with hop varieties contributed by six breweries. Frontaal Brewing Company supplied Elani, Dry & Bitter Brewing Company supplied Nectaron, Fauve Craft Bière supplied Sabro, Browar Nepomucen supplied Książęcy, Birrificio Italiano supplied Styrian Dragon, and Maisel & Friends supplied Topaz. Maisel & Friends listed the beer at 8.5 percent alcohol by volume and 65 IBU.
