L’Antica Birreria Peroni Opens In Rome

L’Antica Birreria Peroni opened in Rome in 1906. The venue is located at Via di San Marcello 19 and became a place where Romans and visitors gathered to eat, drink, and enjoy Peroni beer in the center of the city. The site grew out of an early twentieth-century beer and ice depot that later gave rise to the present Antica Birreria Peroni. Turismo Roma describes it as a unique historic venue of its kind in the capital and connects its long activity to the storage and service of cold beer in central Rome.
